About Me


My passion is to create jaw-dropping media, visualizing concept driven and strategic ideas and act as a sparring partner for both creatives and strategists. Always trying to set new boundaries for brands, corporations, buros and myself.

In 2000 I founded Extrea Multimedia a small studio based in Haarlem. Where I led the team, a group of enthusiastic specialists, in creating innovative online and offline brand experiences. Extrea Multimedia also specialized in complex rich internet applications.During my role as a creative director I set the direction for complete (re)branding projects for a several Telegraaf Media Group subsidiaries, expanded brand experience and brand activation online for multiple Sanoma Magazines & Mediamarkt via (mini/campaign) sites, games and social media.

I was responsible for the design, creation and strategy of brand awareness and online fundraising for clients such as Dierenasiel Amsterdam, Diabetes Fonds, Dutch Baseball Academies and Wakker Dier.

Since 2011 I am working as a freelance creative/designer/art director. I’ve had the chance to design the corporate ecommerce platform of Selexyz (currently offline), the global corporate website of Veritate, IQu.com and Keune Haircosmetics.

In 2013 I started freelancing for Ride. Ride is a studio primarily focussed on creating creative content for social media. Together with Pim de Graaff (copywriter) we teamed up to put Absolut Vodka (NL) on the Social Media map. I was partly responsible for winning (the pitch and eventually) the account for 2013. Apart from Absolut we also doubled the community on Facebook for the brand Ziggo. We did so by community management, multiple activations and campaigns.

I started working for Info.nl in 2013 where my job was to enhance proposals made in several pitches in word and image as well as lead visual designing for their key accounts. Noteworthy achievements: A portal that was launched in 2014 commissioned by Regiobank: Voordebuurt. nl. Where is was Lead Visual Design. And, I was also partly responsible for a mobile-first website for Rijkswaterstaat on ‘het SAA traject’.

Currently fulfilling a role as a freelance lead designer for multiple bureaus, working on campaigns, websites, tabs, apps, branding, corporate identity for brands and clients as ABN Amro Bank, Regio- bank, Absolut Vodka, KPN, Audi, Ziggo, Douwe Egberts, HTC, Fanta, Aquarius, Malibu, Holland Casino, Coca Cola, Rabobank, Zwitsal, Optimel, Senseo, C&A, ASR, Lätta and Andrelon and many more.

As a team player I am an enthusiastic motivator and a good listener. I can be frank and constructive in order to reach an optimal result for the client with the team.
